Filipino-American graphic designer, Christian Guillermo cannot balance work and life without fun. He enjoys experimenting and bending the rules with his ideas through play, often times as a typographic poster or late night illustration.

For his practice, he taps into his appreciation of missed details in the everyday. From silly convos with loved ones, commute interludes, and hobbies; to his do-not-disturb home office, found still-life moments, and nostalgic experiences. The small things are the big things.

Inspired by skateboarding and counter culture — there’s a punk and DIY grit in his process and graphic approach. Style and feeling is the secret formula and it’s packed with a punch and soft edges. You can feel the stillness and madness in between.

Christian is currently living and working in Highland Park, Los Angeles — freelance designing editorial, website, and print projects during the day, and gently building his own print and merch shop during nights.
